How do you like it, I am seriously thinking of picking up one, or a kimber 82. for long range ground squirrel hunting. I picked up a CZ 512 last week. I put on my BSA sweet 22 and headed down to the range. The trigger is not super. It is definitely a doozy. First 5 shot group with the scope sighted in at 25 yds. Four more 5 shot groups. I then became a bit bored. So i inserted empty 22 shell casings into holes left by the 22 bullets And then shot them out. I am looking at the following for a nice bolt action 22lr. Kimber 82, Anschutz 1416 D HB Thumbhole Cooper 57-m Classic. Walther UIT BV < if i can find one with box papers ect. What say you all? I had a cz 455 Varmint thumbhole SST. that i had to return under recall.

Grouse, This is not a hunting gun. Single shot. Trigger is 1 1/2 ounces. Slam the bolt too hard and it will go bang! I shoot the BR50 at my local club with this sweet gun. Got my first 250 at the last club shoot. Needless to say, I was very happy! Bob

I am looking at repourposing a few of the single shots as hunting rifles. Just stiffen up the trigger pull to around 2lbs. It is a thought...

Yes, Chief. That is a Manners T4 stock that comes on the Precision er model 455. It matches my long range rifles perfectly!

That sounds good. I ended up finding a nib Kimber 82 for under 800. I am waiting on that. We shall see how it goes. I may pick up a cz just to have another go at it. On the odd chance. Do you know anything about the currant hamereli X-EESE pistols. How do they run compared to the older sig trailsides. I see some 6" on line for under 9 and mags for 28.. i am giving up on a ruger. Mk series..
