thanks all the kinves are from Dave Loukides of prayer knives. He is a local to me (Cheshire CT) journeyman knife maker.
http://www.prayerknives.com/ I picked up 8 or so of his knives. These are all his photos. Mine are horrible compared to them. It should show you what a Journeyman Knife maker From the ABS can do. The following images are his. The first group are the 8 knives i purchased. The second group are the knives I sadly left behind. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Second group, the knives I left behind. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A little about my search. I contacted about 15 Regional (east coast)journeyman knife makers over the last few months. Dave was 1 of 2 local to me in CT. On top of that he is one of 3 who answered the phone/email and the only one with stock on hand. My transaction went fantastic. The knives are everything i was looking for. They are good solid pieces of workmanship, that can be admired and used. Some, are just jaw droppingly gorgeous. I use the 8 inch kitchen knife every day, By far and away the single best kitchen knife I have ever owned. I have had knives 5 times the cost. Three of the knives are now with world travelers and guides. One in Switzerland, two in Iceland. Their esteem of them was amazing.
