I kinda feel your pain. My laptop ran some "updates" the other night and now I can't watch YouTube videos anymore. I get nothing but error messages.

It was working fine, so I guess they had to break it and drum up some tech support business.

I used my phone for a while, didn't want to play computer wizard. Well, since all I can do is PLAY wizard, I don't actually know much about these things anymore.
