I'm not tied to a particular platform or caliber. Sometimes the mechanics of a gun interests me. Some guns are just sexy and I want to own one even if it's a POS. I like some platforms because they are super reliable. I absolutely love accurate guns with really light triggers. I like the impractical, to small, to big, to powerfull...
