I have to admit to recently breaking ranks on this one. I started carrying an older Springfield in a Blade Tech Stingray. It's comfortable, draw speed is noticably faster. My pancakes do seem to support the 1911 better, I just like speed on the draw.

I don't like Kydex around my 1911. There I've said enough.

Kydex is far better then leather even a "Nice" Colt would love it.
