I couldn't agree more with the OP. We are a nation that has made a habit of getting priorities all screwed-up.

All of the above and then some!
Maybe have a portion of professional athletes salaries put toward our service men and women as well. Anyone that makes close to or well over a million dollars a year should be thankful to our military who put their lives on the line on a daily basis so that they can enjoy that type of freedom.
