Mom came through surgery pretty well. The Doc was able to work laparoscopically. Removed approximately one foot of the colon with a half dollar sized tumor that appeared to have not penetrated the colon wall. She is resting comfortably. Now they just need to keep the specter of infection at bay. Thanks for your prayers and your ongoing intercession.

Mom came home from hospital today and is doing well. Pathology says the tumor is a stage one so it was likely caught in time. Dad has me worried though. He fell In May and hit his head. E-room said no concussion and no bleeding on the brain but he has been badly confused for hours at a time. Mom says he has had problems since the fall but obviously worse now. Hoping as the stress falls off he will improve. Sis & I are insisting on a neurological consult. Appreciate the prayers to date but keep em coming for both of them.
