, I am a serious grip addict. Just posted 2 pictures of new grips that arrived yesterday. I have enough 1911 grips to outfit the Cotep membership. In a weird way I am happy that the grips on this pistol do not change. This is purposely not a pretty gun, I already have them. This is a no sweat gun, one to have fun with when I would be worried about the others. That said, they are fugly but work well with the front and rear straps providing a secure hold that allowed me to empty 16 round magazines without adjusting grip or lowering the gun, both 2 and single handed.

Howdy Dennis

Nice gun..Good luck with it

I had one the first ones come in and shot it for a while

had a few holsters made for it

At the range with it

Then a friend saw it and had to have it, So I sold it to him except for the Elephant Holster rig which also fits my 1911's

I am sure that you will love shooting it……..

Is your Black or OD?

Hi Gary,

It is black. Only a 150 rounds and a few days with it but so far I like it even more than I expected. Any problems with yours? Thanks Dennis

I always felt this was similar to and a modern version of a Browning Hi-Power.
Would this assessment be true or no?

Hi Dennis

Had zero problems with mine...It would eat anything I fed it.
I let a friend of mine shoot it and he said he had to have it, So I sold it to him..
What I really liked was the way they made the lower...A double stack but not FAT...If almost felt like a single stack..
Good luck with yours and don't let any friends shoot it.

I am no expert, , but I think so. Controls, ignition system, feel and function fit the bill. The trigger is 3.5# and out of the bag very good but not quite as magical as my other WC's are although the function is the same. The primary difference seems to be lighter weight, double the capacity and a worry free finish. The takedown is different as barrel, end plug and recoil spring remove rearward as there is no barrel bushing. Takedown is quick and easy. There are excellent videos on U tube for take down, reviews and function. Mine was built the end of December. Serial number 01364. Dennis
