Thank you all very much for contributing. I ordered the flowers today and got confirmation for delivery to the funeral home on the 8th. It should look something like this but I got the deluxe version with more flowers.

I read all the post's for Dave and really liked s words a lot so the text on the card will read:

"Rest In Peace Dave. thank you for your friendship and the knowledge that you shared and may the Good Lord welcome you Home and Comfort those you left behind.
