It looks nice, but I am hard pressed to see $3000.00 worth of gun there.

It's the brand and the attention to the finishing details.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a $3K beauty queen that just sits in the safe just to say I have one. Just not that one. Wait, I already do..... the Monolith Nevermind.

Seriously though, if I ever drop $3K again on a custom 1911, it's going to be either another Les Baer Monolith or a Guncrafter Industries GI #2. Or go for broke and drop even more on a Cabot.
