When were those rulings? Because I know Amtrak was still deploying dogs as described above through at least July of 2015.

trains would be different for "bombs". But on a traffic stop you can no longer delay the stop with a sniff with out the PC. The court case was Rodriguez and it was about 5-7 weeks ago. Kind our turned the K9 program upside down for right now.

My dog can't sniff guns but when he see's me get my range bag out he goes nuts because he knows I'll be gone for longer than he likes.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

They need to keep the dogs busy searching for DRUGS....NOT hasselling law abiding citizens!

From what I understand, they usually train dogs for either Explosives or Drugs, but never both. They just get separate dogs for separate tasks.

We'll see if this comes to any fruition, but there are so many things that can go wrong with this, I hope they think it through.
