At a knife show in Michigan around 2005 or so Roger "Mudbone" Jones walked up to my wife and I and said both of you give me a penny. OK we did and Roger handed both my wife and I a handmade knife, made from a file. He said its tradition that when someone gives you a knife you give them a penny.

Mike Stewart and his crew at Bark River Knife and Tool in Escanaba, MI make some very nice knives. My ex-wife does excellent scrimshaw; here's a combination of both!

Something Different - a WWII Theater Knife; using a shell casing for a handle; the rough leather sheath has a wood liner as well.






The RH head case stamp was used from 1941-1945 and is for thee Raleigh Cycle Co., Carlton, Nottingham.
