UPDATE 11JUN12 - I am home again after spending a lot of time out of town. I am VERY glad to report that the new doctor and hospital came up with an effective treatment plan for my Mother and she has done a complete 180 degree turn! We went from thinking and planning for hospice to come in, to a very reasonable expectation of a close to full recovery. WOW!
