I also, unfortunately, do not have the space for reloading. I'm looking for a good round that I can shoot consistently through my Garand and the '03. Thanks in advance.

This could be an opportunity for a group buy. I've been waiting for a decent Correct grade for a quite awhile; at least one not requiring my left arm in exchange. Does anyone have an inside connection?

Guys, the best deal for 06 for the Garand is through the CMP and you don't have to jump through all the hoops you do to buy a rifle, just a couple pages to fill out and join an affiliated club like the Garand collectors' Association. $25.00 a year and it qualifies you.
Greek HXP,which is excellent M2 Ball goes for $96.00 plus shipping for 192 rounds in En-Blocs in Bandoleers. They also have Hornady M2 at reduced prices, 100 rounds for $85.00. This stuff sells for $35.00 a box of 20 at the local stores. About 98% of the Commercial ammo is not safe to shoot in your garand, too much port-pressure. Damages Op-Rods and sometimes, Bolts. Here's a link to the CMP Eligability requirements.http://www.odcmp.com/Sales/eligibility.htm
